The Collection of Sidney Rothberg, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

This lot is located in Philadelphia.

Condition
In overall good condition. The sheet is affixed to the backing board at all four corners, making it impossible to examine its verso. With slight undulations along the outer edges, due to the mounting itself. The sheet is slightly off centered on the board, only the bottom and right outer edges lining up with the outline of the board (which appears dusty, and shows signs of acidic penetration). The sheet itself presents well. Slight toning, with evidence of handling along the outer edges, most notably at bottom right (smudges around the signature). No evidence of loss or repair, save for a 0 1/2 loss at bottom left (along left outer edge). The paint is stable, with only light craquelure visible on the white wash at center left, because the layer of paint is very thin. With four pinholes (one in each corner). Additional images available upon request.
